Orbi Router disconnecting
Hoping someone can help. This past week, the router has randomly been going offline and disconnecting wifi. I diconnect the router and reconnect when that happens and it then seems to be fine for a few hours but then it happens again. I have children doing distance learning and every time this happens they get kicked out of class, I also work from home so this is very inconvenient. Does anyone know why this is happening and what I can do to fix it so it doesnt happen multiple times a day.
Thank you!

I have the Orbi Whole Home Dual-band wi-fi system, picture here, (includes 1 RBR10 Orbi Router and RBS10 Satellites) I set this up in January so failry new, never had an issue before this past week. According to the Orbi app the routers firmware is V2.3.6.18.
I believe the firmware was installed during set-up.

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerWhat channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings
Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle, Daisy Chain, Fast Roaming, IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).

Hi -
Not sure I understand everything that you wrote below as I am not very tech-savvy..but i will try and answer as best i can ..

** The cable from Verizon Fios is plugged directly into my Orbi routerWhat is the size of your home? Sq Ft?What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
** The house is a hi-ranch with the router upstairs in the main room and one satellite downstairs. The room that the router is in is about 75 sq ft, this is the room that we use the computers in and they are within the 30 ft of the router.
What channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
** Have no idea what this is or where to find this info - can you explain further?
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?**yes - there are 4
