Orbi Wifi Android
Hi,
I believe this issue is Android to Orbi. Orbi is rejecting Android connections? It is effecting all devices, phones, tablets, vodafone TV. I try and wire as many devices as possible.
Overnight Orbi lost Wifi. Orbi SSID is showing up on Android devices but I get "Failed to Obtain IP Address". LAN is working. Wifi from Orbi router to Orbi Satellites on wifi is working. I can use wifi on my Windows 10 PC.
What I have checked:
- Powered down whole network and rebooted one at a time waiting for each to load (Fibre Modem, Orbi Router, Satellite 1, Satellite 2, Switch, NAS, NAS, PC...
- DHCP working on Orbi, range is correct 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.254
- IPv6 is off
- Guest Network is off
- Changed WPS to from AES to TKIP
- Changed android device name
- Turned off Access control on Orbi and tried to connect on phone.
- Checked Blacklisted devices on Orbi.
- Updated Firmware on Orbi
- Restarted phones, forget networks on phones, wiped Play store cache, set to aeroplane mode then back again.
Ive not done a factory reset yet on Orbi yet this is my next action.
Any other ideas?

What FW version are you using now?
Did you have the Android forget any profiles that it had attempted to conencte to then reboot the android then try again?
My Galaxy Tab S2 works well. v16 is current version of FW.

Hi Furry.
All of a sudden this morning my phone connected (wifi on and mobile data on) but it takes a long time to connect. I will try and wipe the cache of all previous wifi conenctions on the phone and see if that fixes it. My wife's S8 connected last night after a Samsung update. S7, S5 and other tablets not connecting. Orbi firmware V2.5.1.16. Phone Samsung S8 G950FXXS8DTC7. I will hard rest the Orbi, update firmware and start again. That should do it.

As far as I know, my other halfs S8 connects fine our Orbi RBK50 fine as well.
Hopefully a reset and setup from scratch will help.One User Experience/Configuration:
