Pioneer Elite Receiver drops network connection from Orbi
Just upgraded my internet to GIG speed from comcast Xfinity. I have my Orbi AX4200 mesh system extending my XB7 xfinity router. My entire house now is getting 500-800Mbs and my internet and smart devices are working flawlessly. The main AX4200 is hardwired to my XB7 and I have several other devices connected to my AX4200 and all but one are functioning fine. I have a Pioneer Elite SC-97 AV receiver that connected initially but keeps dropping network connection. I have the receiver set to wired and have network standby on the receiver set to ON so that other devices can access it in sleep mode. It has worked fine with other network configurarions. I noticed that after a period of time (1 hour) the Pioneer Receiver dissapears from my list of wired devices. I do have the Receiver wired directly to the AX400 and have changed wires in case I had a faulty CAT5. I have reserved the IP address for the receiver using 192.168.1.15 and also copied that setting to my Pioneer configuration. I have DHCP turned off on the reciever and set the subnet mask to 255.255.255.0. I ahave the default gateway and Primay DNS server setting set to the Orbi router 192.168.1.1 This works incredible for a short period of time (speed connection from Pioneer iphone app is awesome) but then magially the reciever dissapears from my list of devices. Any advice on how to keep the receiver online would be greatly appreciated. I have an email into Pioneer support as well!

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What mode is the ISP modem router working in? IF this has a built in router and wifi, This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT
https://kb.netgear.com/30187/How-to-fix-issues-with-Double-NAT
Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktopWhat is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerWhat is the distance between the RBR/RBS to the Pioneer RCVR?

Sorry for the delay... long work day...
Orbi hardware: RBR750
Orbi firmware: V3.2.15.25_1.3.15
Xfinity XB7 is in stadard modem+router configuration
Agreed on Double-NAT situation will look into setting the XB7 into bridge mode. My network setup is not optimal for standard configs and I do have a lot of smart home switches and appliances that depend on a aolid network. On top of that I have a mid 1800s home with lots of rennovations and additions. My ISP router is in my home office over my garage and a good 30+ feet away from my homes center. This is where I use the Orbi centered in my living room and the satellite is about 25 feet from the router on the 2nd floor. The main orbi router is about 20 feet from my home theater and is hardwired to my receiver and apple tv via CAT5. The XB7 feeds my Orbi router via a CAT5 and that is a long 40+ foot run.
The square footage of my home is right around 3000 but not a typical rectangle layout... mostly an elongated L shape with another extension off the back of the garage... kind of like half the letter "H" in shape.
Like I said earlier... everything but my Reciever is behaving perfectly.. although it is the only device I am trying to dedicate a static IP to. Guessing you are thinking that the Double-Nat situation is not handling the IP assignement properly even though it works for a short period of time....

Are you sure the Pioneer receiver is not just going into sleep mode, waiting to be woken up? My Onkyo works that way. It sleeps and when I need to access it, it wakes up.

Unlike the wake feature of your Onkyo... Pioneer has a specific network setting to enable or disable what they call Network Stanby. When set to YES.. the network standby featrure allows external devices to turn on or off the receiver. This has worked perfectly in the past using Apple Extreme wireless routers to extend my Comcast network. Pioneer has a lousy but functional mobile app called iControlAV5 that allows me to accees my receiver and turn on music zones, volume control and music sources. This is my go to app for summer outside enjoyment. What I have noticed when I use my Orbi mobile app is that my wired reciever device dissapears from my device list when left alone for a while. This is something new and the last item on my troubleshooting list of devies (but one I use the most). Now I am juggling where the problem lies... Xfinity router, Orbi setting or Pioneer reciever settings. I may try the bridge mode option and see what pandora's box opens up for me next. Appreciate your post... it was one of my first thought too until I dusted off the pioneer manaual again.
