RBK12 Wifi shut off at night

RBK12 Orbi AC1200 Dual-Band Mesh WiFi System 2 pack

I wonder if it is possible to shut off the wifi at night by schedule. I am thinking about buying one but I can’t find this feature in the online manual.

Usually if you don't see a feature in the user manual, then it's not offered on the system. Users have been asking for this however I believe due to the nature and design of the MESH system, the wifi needs to be enabled so that connected RBS can maintain there connections to the base RBR at all times.

It's not in the manual because it doesn't exist.  With practically every device in the home being WiFi enabled these days, the emphasis is on "24/7/365" networking, not on shutting it off for hours every day.

A couple of mechanical timers on the electric outlets will achieve this.

Not sure why you want this, but you may want to keep in mind that IF your SATS are using WIFI and you have the ability to shut that part (WIFI) of your network off at night, the SATS may miss out on critical FW updates from NG.  That would be the ones that NG pushes auto-pilot.

Thank you all for your reply. Guess a timer is indeed the best option to shut it off.
