    Hello Bodyguard

Is the sky tv on wifi or is it wired to the satellite?

      Hi Darren

      thanks for the prompt reply.

The Sky is the Q version. The main box is wired, the secondary box is a mini box that can be used in any other room within the house.

This secondary box requires a strong wifi signal to enable a picture service.

The Orbi satellite is located approximately 15 yards from the Orbi router but, the signal constantly drops out.

I bought the Orbi system after I saw it advertised and the claim that you can get an amazing wifi signal in the darkest corner of your house, really sold it to me.

Guess what!!!!!!! I can't even get a decent signal in my kitchen.

      Any advice is welcome Darren

      Regards

      Carl

        Hello Bodyguard

You may need to factory reset the unit as we just released a large firmware update last week that change a lot of things. Then set it up again. Also under the Advanced wireless settings you may want to make sure the beam forming and mumimo is enabled.
