I just got off the phone with customer service due to a weird issue where the orbi stopped working. I don't have the extra protection but our internet tech stopped by and said the ports are the issue. NetGear won't allow that, they say it has to be reconfigured but to do so I have to pay 90$/6 months. Unbelievable. Something that could help keep customers after spending $300 on the stupid product but should've read the reviews. The fact they can't do a one time thing for customers but I guess wait 90 days while customers are protected and then "system issues" that you have to pay for them to walk you through, not visit or anything. So disappointed but a bbb complaint has been filed!

Check the power adapter. Swap the adapter with the RBS adapter and see. If this fails, I recommend you contact NG support and get there help then:
