RBK53 router and 2 Sat ideal setting
Hi I just upgraded to the router and 2 sats from my old router only setup.
I have the router at the far end 1st floor and one sat at the middle of the house 1st floor, while the 2nd sat is on the 2nd floor at the end of the house.
All settings are auto including daisy chain and I actived the beam forwarding just now. Also newest firmware.
1. My problem is that most devices are connected to the router and very little to the satellites. Why is this?
2. On the app, it shows my setup as router then "V" to the satellites. I thought it is suppose to be router-sat-sat diagram and I have the daisy chain active. How do I get it to change?
3. What is the best settings for my new setup with 2 sats, router AC3000? I do have alot of neighbors with wifi tho.
4. I have a few device ip I don't reconize. Is there a way to identify them better to pin point what the devices are?

What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-routerWhat channels are you using? Auto? Try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and any unused channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?Try disabling the following and see:
Armor, Circle. IPv6 and Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s).You can turn down the power output of the RBRs wifi radios to see if this will help steer some devices to the RBSs under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings. Most wifi devices pick and chose which signal to connect too based on noise, distance, signal quality.
