rbk53 system losing ONLY wifi connection

hello guys,

I got a problem with my orbi system going on for a while now.

my system sometimes looses wireless connection. So for example every 10 or 20 min the wifi connection goes away for 1 or 2 seconds and then jumps right back and everything starts working great again. my wired systems does not have this issue, they are always working great without loosing connection for a small second or two.

what can this be??

kinds regards,

Rick

  • 1. What firmware you running?

    2. How far apart are the router and satellites from each other? 30 ft is the minimum distance they should be.

    3. How big of an area are they covering? (square ft of your house)

    4. Is there much for wireless interference in your area?

    5. Is the backhaul going down as well? (hardwire into a satellite to test this)

    Some options you can try:

    enable/disable beamforming

    enable/disable mu-mimo

    enable/disable fast roaming

Just don't understand it. Everything shows that it's having a perfect connection. The satalites are perfect in range nothing is blocking them.
Everything is running the latest firmware.

And only the router is loosing it's signal. The satallites are always giving a wifi signal

My modem is from ziggo (very highend one)

...and IF that modem is dual (modem/router) you CAN'T just plug it in without doing some configuring.
