RBR 50 V2 Satellite Firmware Corrupted
I have an RBR 50 v2 with two satellites. Two years old. One of them woke me up this morning at 4 AM with a blinking white light. The router appeared to be functioning fine, so I tried rebooting and reconnecting the satellites with no success. Both satellites continued to blink white. Then I noticed that the LED on the power button of both satellites was blinking red. The manual indicated this was a symptom of corrupted firmware.
So I connected with with the Netgear support page for my device and downloaded the newest firmware, but when I tried to open the file I got the error message:
"The disk image couldn't be opened. The disk image is corrupted"
The Release Notes opened normally. I tried several earlier versions but got the same result. This is really confusing!
Thanks for any comments.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?DO NOT OPEN THE FW File after unpacking it from the .zip file. It doesn't need opening after this. It's not corrupted.
If you have access the the RBS web page at all, you can send the unpacked FW file to the RBS web page using the FW Update section on the RBS web page. https://kb.netgear.com/000037217/How-do-I-check-and-manually-upgrade-the-firmware-on-my-Orbi-satellite

Firmware version is V2.7.4.24.
The modem is from Xfinity and it says it is an ARRIS TG1682G (if that makes any sense).
As for your instructions, I really appreciate your detail and thoroughness, but unfortunately my knowledge is so limited, I'm going to have to pick them apart slowly - very slowly - starting with finding out what a RBS web page is. But thank you again for getting me this far.

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
