RBR10 Router to AP mode
I have just recently purchased an Orbi Mesh system. The RBK 13. It is supposed to be here in 2 or 3 days. I was checking into how to setup and saw that I need to set the Router in AP mode since I will be hooking it up to a Cable Modem Gateway with the WiFi disabled. Do I do this prior to setting up my network with the Mobile app or should I do it afterwards? I know this is probably a dumb question, but I want to do this right the first time and I don't really have any experience with this sort of thing. Thanks in Advance for your help.

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop

As far as I know, setting the Orbi mode to router or access point (AP) can be done ONLY from the Orbi web interface.
i.e. after the Orbi is turned on, point a web browser at http://orbilogin.net and log in using the admin credentials. When the Orbi is first unboxed, these are "admin" and "password". Navigate to the Advanced Tab, Advanced Setup, Router/AP mode, and select AP. The Orbi will reboot.

Thanks All.
I did what you suggested and I had to set the Orbi to AP mode. This worked and I have excellent speeds evrywhere in my house that I have checked. And I am able to use the Orbi app on phone to look at the Network map and check my signal strength. The only smqall issue I have now is that when I try to go to orbilogin.com co my computer, I am not able see the orbi. This is no big deal to me, I just want the WiFi to work ... and it does. Thanks again.

To reach your ORBI from your home computer (within your LAN) just use the local IP address of your RBR10 (example 192.168.1.2).
