RBR50 and Satellite - where is the setting to upgrade the allowed speed in?
How to change line in speed? I changed from 100 megs to 1,000 megs from ISP. Router needs to have setting changed and I can't find where to do that.

Gigabit ethernet ports "autosense" the correct speed by communicating between themselves.

The Orbi WAN port typically connects to modems with gigabit ethernet ports at 1000M/Full no matter what throughput the modem provides.
The negotiated speed is shown on the Orbi web interface, Advanced Tab. Click the blue box "Show Statistics" (see attached image)

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?Thats handled at the modem or check your LAN cables for any problems between the RBR and isp modem. CAT6 is recommended. The RBR automatically detects 900Mpbs speeds if all is working well at the modem.
Make sure your getting near 900Mpbs with a wired PC at the modem first.
Check the RBRs web page on the Advanced tab and the Internet port section. There is a status button there. Select this button to check the connection rate seen between the RBR and ISP modem. Should read 1000Mpbs wan the WAN or Internet port.

Thank you for the quick reply. In the statistics section the WAN, it shows status of “100M/Full” and not 1000M/Full. My ISP said it should be changeable in the router settings somewhere. He also said CAT5E or CAT6 should be both rated at 1000Megs.
I have CAT5E from the ONT to the Orbi. I just downloaded the latest firmware which is V2.7.2.104. Manufacturer of the ONT is ADTRAN – model GPON 452.

There is no setting. I would try a different ethernet cable.
