RBR50 can't connect to router

Hi all. Long-shot here.

Recently, the Orbi lost WiFi after my ISP made changes that caused issues. Although they've resolved the issues, I haven't been able to get the Orbi to work as a router.

I've tried the following:
1. Power cycled
2. Factory reset
3. Manually updated the firmware

I get the power led is green and router ring led is flashing white or off. When connected to the Internet port, I cannot get any response from my laptop with a manual IP address. However, when connected to any of the Ethernet ports, I do get a response from my laptop.

Also, I'm able to hold the reset button at power up and flash the power led to amber until the Internet port works as a passthrough. That's how I can send the firmware. Although it reports the bytes, the router ring led goes back to flashing white or off with no ethernet link.

Has the Orbi become bricked? Is there anything else I can try?

It's been working for years until my ISP made those changes and hoping I can recover the Orbi.

Also, the satellite works perfectly and shows WiFi. I've also confirmed that my ISP is working from a different router.

Thank you for any suggestions.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.

If you press the reset button of 15 seconds on the RBR with the RBR disconnected from the ISP modem and just one wired PC connected to any of the white LAN ports in back, not the yellow port, give it one minute, can you access the RBRs web page at 192.168.1.1 at all in a web browser? You should see a setup page and Orbi app picture on the page.

Be sure to set the PC for automatic IP addressing configuration.

      Thank you for the response!

The ISP is from OzarkGo and fiber. Seems to be a "black box" where I’m not seeing any info on the manufacturer or the model. I only get the default settings. There is an ethernet port, and I had to work with them to confirm that they’re receiving signals to the Orbi. They can only recognize the Orbi when the router is in passthrough mode.

      I was using a CAT5, and I have a CAT8. I’ll see what else I have.

Oh, and that seems to be the issue as well. When connected to a white LAN port, I get a self-assigned IP.

Also, should there be any changes to the power led while pressing the reset button? Seems to be stuck in power led green and router ring led blinking white. I can only get a change when first booting and pressing the reset button for 15 seconds. And that’s when I’m getting the self-assigned IP.

I've been trying to get into the web browser for the settings and struggling to get into it.
