RBR50 Firmware
Trying to update the router firmware.
RBR50. Currently on version V2.0.0.74
When I use the ap, I just get an error
When I log into 192.168.1.1 then Advanced/Admin/Firmware update
Auto update fails
Manual update to V2.7.5.4 says it is the incorrect version. I've actually tried the RBR and the RBS versions. Both fail.

Back in 2019, Netgear discovered that the software engineers had assumed that the Orbi firmware image would never grow larger than a certain size and built a check into the firmware update software to reject any image greater than that size.
Alas, the image DID grow larger, and was rejected by the update routine. Netgear released a special version of firmware where the only thing it did was remove that size limit. This version has to be installed manually on both satellite and router before they will accept any newer version. See:

I am also getting the error while using app.
The Orbi 'app' has no capability to choose which firmware version to load.
When the firmware version is before v2.2.1.212, the only way to update is to use the Orbi web interface to Manually update first to 2.2.1.212, and then to whatever version after that is desired. (Most users would select the latest)
