RBS 20 satellite
I have hard wired and connected to the RBR 40, why am I not getting the same speed at the main router ? Need help the current setup is the rbr40 is the Ap connected to the wall satellite which came in the package, I bought the rbs20 to increase coverage, I like in a 10000 sq.ft home with thick walls. Kindly suggest how or what settings I can change on the rbs20 to get the full bandwidth speed ?

You say you have a 10,000 sq ft home? That is a lot of required coverage for what you have. The RBR40 combined with the wall satellite, plus adding the RBS20 may not get you the desired coverage you want or need. When you say get full bandwidth speed on the RBS20, how far is it from the RBR4 which is going to determine your backhaul connection. Then your WIFI speed on your device will depend on how close you are to the RBS20 or any other satellite.
Can you explain positioning distance of the orbi router and satellites?

I am looking to get coverage of advised speed over two floors which are about 7000 sq.ft.
i bought the rbk 30 router which came as a pack of two, the main router(rbk40) and a wall satellite. So the main router is placed on the ground floor under the staircase where I get signal for two rooms, the satellite is placed about 30 ft away which is my dining area where I'm able to get the full throughput of speed of 180 mbps, this satellite is connected wirelessly. I had bought this system from a test per say but I was impressed with its capability and wanted to extend this to the 1st floor in my home where I have 2 wired Ethernet cables layed. I went out and got the rbs 20 as its the suitable satellite to the model I purchased.
now here is where I'm facing a problem. I connected the satellite via the Ethernet from the main router to the new rbs20 satellite, now both the main router and the rbs20 are gigabit Ethernet ports, in this case I must be getting the actual speed of 180. But I'm not getting anything above 90 to 95 mbps. What should I do to get desired result.
the connection is wired in the following method,
isp router to the orbi rbk40 and further more via Ethernet to the satellite.
once I'm able to solve this I'm looking to buy another 1 or 2 more satellites to cover the entire 1st floor. Please advice on the same. Can I add another rbk40 set up to the current rbk40 main router ? Will it support ?

What size network cable are you using to connect the Orbi router to the Orbi satellite?
Here is a chart showing 2 common cable sizes. As you can see Cat5, if this is your cable size, could be the issue. Whereas Cat5e shouldn't be the problem.
Cat 5 Unshielded 10/100Mbps 100 MHz Cat 5e Unshielded 1,000Mbps / 1Gbps 100 MHz With regard to another RBK40, the answer is no, as the RBR40 is a router and you can only add satellites.
Also I tried changing the setting from the orbi being a router to an AP. Does this help ?
should I use a gigabit switch in my set up.

The main router and the rbs20 satellite are about 50 ft apart. It does catch signal as I tried to connect it wirelessly and it was blinking magenta through out. When I wired the rbs20 then standing right next to it I'm getting on 90 to 95 mbps.
