RBS50 Satellite - UnSecure Connection but fine on Main Router
RBR50 router with RBS50 Satellite
Satellite is wired connection
Router Firmware Version V2.7.3.22 - on both
Auto update is selected, no idea when it updated
Everything worked fine until a week ago
Now, after lots of testing, can prove that if device (iPhone/iPad most noticeable) is connected to the SATELLITE - it does not hit the internet
Try to go to cable news web site - error that a can't connect because it could not establish a secure connection to server
Try to go to local news site - this connection is not private and talks about a certificate issue
Here is what puzzles me
If I disable the satellite, and move to side of house main router is on, everything works fine.
This to me rules out the device as the problem, as well as the ISP access
Issue is only when connected to the satellite that is on same firmware as router
Have power cycled Modem, Router, and Satellite - nothing changes
Have done a factor reset of satellite and added back to network
At a loss as to why just the satellite recently stopped working correctly.and only when connected to satellite

Community Teamupdating firmware seems to have resolved the problem - was more than those 2 web sites, just used those as an example but is working (for now)
Not sure why if set to automatically update firmware, it had npt updated, but manual update of satellite and then router seems to have fixed it.

Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

i’ve the same problem. my iphone doesn’t connect to the rbs50 and there is no problem to connect to the router. i.ve upgraded with the last version but the problem is still remaining
