Hello,
I recently acquired Samsung Galaxy S8 and also have the same issue. No other devices are having this issue - my previous device was S7
I have router and 2 satellites all on V1.12.0.18
Thank you,

I have opened a support case with Netgear on this issue. The first tier was not able to resolve anything, nor were the techs I corresponded with aware of this particular thread.
They have since escalated it (yesterday) and I'm waiting to hear something.
I know a moderator had posted earlier in the thread that they are aware of the issue but it would be nice if they reported some sort of progress, if any, has been made in resolving this.
- toddbeeAug 05, 2017GuideHonestly I have been escalated to tier two support and gone thru the debug files with them. I really have no faith that this company is going to fix this any time soon. It appears to be an issue for quite a while and still no patch. Guest network does work well however.

Pasted below is somebody else's complaint and your reply. I am having the exact issue (except I am in the US, not Hong Kong) and wonder if you figured it out. Note that I have also done all basic troubleshooting - rebooted all, factory reset all, disconnect, reconnect, etc. Hours of my time so please don't reply with troublshooting tips. Reply with a solution, otherwise - Orbi + 3 satellites get returned.
Their complaint:
Samsung Galaxy S8 not working on Orbi RBR40Galaxy S8 keeps connecting Orbi wifi with message "internet may not be available" then logging off again but all other devices including iOs, TV and laptop can connect quite well. I'm using 1000M internet connection in Hong Kong with maximum speed around 450-550M in my other router - ASUS RT-AC68U. This Orbi only runs around 250M something. I'm very disappointed.

Router: RBR40
Satellite: RBW30
I'm having exact same issue. My Galaxy S8 Plus consistently drops the normal wifi. The guest wifi does seem to be holding, though it is underperforming the iPhone 6s Plus by a noticeable amount. It's working as a temporary measure, but this situation does need to be fixed with a new firmware very soon please.

Galaxy S8+ also disconnects off and on (more off than on) but no other issues with any other wifi device. After reading and looking at the router page I tried the following and it seems to have fixed the problem.
go to-- Advanced, Advanced Settings, Wireless Settings, scroll to the bottom and UNCHECK "Enable Implicit Beamforming"
After doing this the Samsung Galaxy S8+ connected and seems to be staying connected.
I am not sure what I may have given up by unchecking this? If you could let me know, I'd appreciate it.

This is the *one* problem I still have with my RBK53, even with the latest posted beta firmware. I have a Galaxy S8 (not plus) from Verizon that is fully patched and updated as of 6-8-18.
My S8 will disconnect, and it's very noticable when I'm using it as a remote for one of my Logitech Harmony hub's. The S8 does this when less than 15 feet away from the main Orbi router. Sometimes it happens over and over, and then other times it will go hours without happening.
Beamforming is and has been disabled (I've done extensive testing, both ways).
I don't need to do a factory reset or anything else Furry recommends.
It's not critical to me, but it is still very annoying, and helps me understand how others feel on these forums with all their Orbi disconnect issues.
