Set RSR10 up
Few questions I am setting up my Orbi Mesh System.
1. I am using a Cradlepoint IRB600 as my router/modem. Where should I hook the Orbi mesh up to the WAN or the LAN port?
2. Also I want to connect my work computer up by using an Ethernet cord to the Orbi Mesh System. How do I know which one to purchase: CAT5, CAT6 or CAT8?

Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
https://kb.netgear.com/26765/Disabled-Features-on-the-Router-when-set-to-AP-ModeThe Orbi RBR always uses the WAN port when in router or AP mode.

How do I know which one to purchase: CAT5, CAT6 or CAT8?Any well made Cat5e or Cat6 ethernet cable will be fine. The RBR10 router has only one ethernet port on the LAN side, labelled "Ethernet". If in the future there is a need to connect more devices directly to the router with ethernet, it will be necessary to purchase a gigabit ethenet switch. 5 port switches are available for under $30 on Amazon.
