Solid Magenta ring on 1 of 2 Orbi RBR20 satellites
I have a 3 year old RBR20 with 2 satellites. 1 satellite has a solid magenta ring and won't sync, even when sitting next to the router. The other is working fine.
The support troubleshooting guide provides this comment..."Your Orbi satellite has no backhaul connection to your Orbi router or it has no IP address", but doesn't provide any information to fix the problem.
Can this be fixed?
Thanks,
Steve
Thanks, that worked, but I had to do a reinstallation of the router and satellites in order to connect since I had originally made some setting changes to connect to my Verizon FIOS router.
Thanks again...

Hello sclouser ,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that you have a RBS20 that does not connect to the RBR20. Please connect to the satellite and verify that it has the same firmware as the router. If it is not the same firmware please update the firmware on your satellite to match the firmware on your router.
Please navigate to the link below to verify the firmware and update your Orbi satellite:

Kevin,
I ran the check and the firmware is up to date, but satellite #1 is not connecting…see below.
What else can I do?
Thanks,
Steve

Hello sclouser ,
Thank you for providing that information!
Please try a factory reset and then establish a connection between the router and satellite-1 before adding satellite-2. Rest assured that if you give your Orbi the SSID and login credentials that if had prior to the reset your devices should automatically detect the network and connect. There should be no additional configuration needed. However, if there is, please give your RBR20 a few minutes to be fully connected to your end-user devices.
