SSID Naming

Question

Hi. I just got my orbi rbk50. When setting up the system I tried to create the same ssid name as my old system which included a ‘

orbi setup says I can’t use this. So that means all my LIFX lightbulbs and ring doorbell have to be hard reset.

I would doubt it.&nbsp; NG seems to be more focused on all the cool things people complaint about, like;&nbsp;back haulAP modeDisney/circledevice listetc.

This an Apostrophy? ( ' )&nbsp;Maybe some thing NG doesn't support on the Orbi system. i usually don't use specialized characters in SSID names. Maybe a ( - ) dash is all.&nbsp;You might ask NG support over phone weather they support that character or not.&nbsp;

Well for short term, you may have to. If this is something NG may fix, if they do, will take a while.&nbsp;You'll have to contact NG support about this.&nbsp;&nbsp;
