Trying to view port settings on an RBR50

So I spent an hour on product support with Ring today.  Last week, our Ring doorbell stopped uploading video after a motion detection.  We still get the notification for motion, but no video at all.

I thought I had the problem solved but it has retruned and I'm trying to decide if something has changed on my network side.  We have an RBR50 with one additional satellite.  It looks like the doorbell is connected on the 2.4 band.

Anyways, the Ring support sent me an email that outlines HTTP, HTTPS, DNS and NTP ports that the doorbell needs to access but I can't seem to locate those anywhere in the Orbi app or on the website dashboard/interface.

Can someone tell me where to locate these?

These are the common names for TCP/UDP connections.  All ports on the Orbi are "open" for internal devices.

HTTP - port 80 (Hypertext Transfer Protocol)

HTTPS - port 443 (Hypertet Transfer Procol Secure)

DNS - port 53 (Domain Name Service)

NTP - port 123 (Network Time Protocol)

When things fail, most of us ask, "What changed?"  Was new firmware loaded?  Router or Satellite moved?

Can you still access the Ring Doorbell with the "app"?

      I don't have a solution, but I can offer a sympathetic ear.

I'm having a heck of a time with one Ring Spotlight Cam creating unplayable videos.  A factory reset of the Cam fixes the problem for a while, then it reappears.

I suspect bad Cam hardware or firmware.  The factory reset reverts to older firmweare on the Cam .. until the buggy one is re-loaded.

      • The problem appeared after working for months.
      • Power-cycling the Cam does not fix the problem
      • The device has good signal (RSSI -43).
      • The Cam responds to events, turns on lights and takes snapshots on command
      • Factory reset of the Cam fixes the problem temporarily, which then re-occurs in a few days

Keep at it and post to the Ring forum.

Rant: Any time the Ring tech support "fixes" the issue, even temporarily by asking the router and the entire home network to be reset, they declare victory and blame the Orbi.  Even though other devices and other Ring cams are perfectly happy.:smileyfrustrated:

Are the other Ring cams the same model? (with the same software?)

If so, is it convenient to swap their physical location?
