Unable to reach certain web sites on RBK53
This resolves to
This may or may not be something related to Orbi .. I figured I'll ask the experts here.
I'm using the latest firmware (2.7.3.22). The DNS entered in the Orbi are
1.1.1.1
208.67.222.222
8.8.8.8
The DNS/DHCP on my windows PC is set to the Router 192.168.1.1
I am not running any parental control or access control restrictions on the Orbi.
I have been unable to reach some web sites. The site resolves to an IP address, but the ping fails. The web pages hosted there time out.
This is happening on the PC as sell as iPhone (that is connected to the LAN thru WiFi).
An example is av.jpn.support.panasonic.com
This resolves to 133.162.66.5 on the PC and the iPhone. Ping fails on both these devices. The pages hosted here don't load on browsers on both devices.
Thus, I'm thinking that this is not a firewall problem on any one device, but somehow getting blocked by the Orbi.
Any thoughts?

I suspect the browsers.
Although ICMP (ping) is a useful tool, there are many IP addresses that host web sites but do not respond to ping requests.
It appears to be nearly random which sites respond to ICMP and which do not. For example:
ford.com and toyota.com respond.
honda.com and bmw.com do not.
harvard.edu and yale.edu do, but usc.edu does not.
av.jpn.support.panasonic.com is one of those sites that does not respond. ping requests time out. But, Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Opera on my Windows 10 PC got this:
My RBR50 with firmware V.2.7.2.23 is set to resolve DNS at Cloudflare (1.1.1.1) and Google (8.8.8.8)
I am in the US with ISP Spectrum cable.

I'm getting the same thing now. It is redirecting to https://panasonic.jp/support/
the actual site I'm trying to get to is
https://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/bd/download/ub420/ub420_us.html
Are you able to load this on your systems?
Thx. for your help..
I get this:
