Model WNR3500Lv2
This problem still persists 3/29/2018. No firmware update is available for this model.
You'll need to get a new router or try some 3rd party FW.

Have you been in conact with NG support about this? Might see if there is any more information on this or ask about using a Beta FW.

Yes I've been asking them to keep me updated. They said there aware of the issue and are working on it. Hopefully that's true. I'll have to ask if they have a beta version. Thanks for the information and I'll keep you posted.
Good Luck.

Looking for an answer to this, AVAST has pointed to an issue.
I was running on an iMac 27" 2017 Retina5K 24Gb 1TB 3.4Ghz Intel Core i5, macOS High Sierra 10.13.4
RBR40 Route with 2 satellites
Hardware Version RBR40 Firmware Version V2.1.2.18 GUI Language Version V1.0.0.314 See if v2.1.3.6 is available for the RBR or RBK40. If it is, try upgrading FW. Reset then setup from scratch and test.
If not, you should contact NG support and ask for help and information on this.
