Nighthawk LAX20 Firmware Version V1.1.6.28_2.0.49
Remote management missing from the router configuration. Is this not a feature?
The Anywhere access in the app is only for allowing the app to access the router from anywhere. That does not enable the router to accecpt http nor https requests.

The manual says it should be there.

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.
Check the section in the manual Set up remote management.
You may have done that already. I can't tell from your message.
I mention it because Netgear gave up on supplying paper manuals and CD versions some years ago and people sometimes miss the downloads.PS I assume you mean the LAX20 and not the RAX40 in your footer. Very different animals.
