AC797 bricked.
Today I turned off the hotspot. But instead of turning off it REBOOT, it reboot like 3 times and display the I am using USB power with the battery inside. I feel that is weird and do a softret via the 192.168.1.1 page, and during the softrest, the screen display nothing in like 20 mins and I take out the battery>>>>and boom, it turned into a brick.
I bought it on amazon at 2020-12-24 and while a registered it on netgear.com, it said that there is no more warranty. What can I do?

Did you had your mobile hotspot connected to a poweroutlet with a usb-c to USB connected to a charger? Or with an usb-c to usb cable to your computer? If yes, that is normal that you got that message which means it detected that it was connected trough USB and charging. If you remove the battery that is absolutely normal that nothing works because no power.

And after that no matter what i do, (putting backing the battery or connect a cable the usb port trying to power the hotspot), it wont ever turn on again.- Margaret76Aspirant
