ALDI mobile Netgear setting

I have a Netgear MR1100 mobile router which has been using a Telstra SIM. I decided to change to ALDI since the unit is nolonger locked to Telstra and the packages are cheaper. However, I have been unable to get the ALDI SIM to be recognised. Is someone able to tell me if this is possible and how to det this up please.

    Hi RObVDN

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

Does it say "SIM Not Installed"? If so, ensure that the micro SIM card is installed correctly. Please check this reference: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/MR1100/MR1100_UM_EN.pdf [page 12]

If no error message pertaining the SIM card, you may need to create a new profile using carriers APN and profile information. Here's a reference: http://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/MR1100/MR1100_UM_EN.pdf [page 33 - 35]

      Thanks Blanca.

I have not got any "SIM Not Installed" issues and I have also created the APN for the Aldi SIM as per their instructions but, for some reason, it is not recognising or detecting the SIM card. I am working through this with the Aldi Technical Support people as well but have not yet resolved the problem. If you have any other thoughts please let me know. If I resolve my problems through Aldi Techniccal Sapport, I will also advise you of the resolution.

      Thanks and regards,
      Rob
