Can not access either the Nighthawk mobile app or web browser.
Just purchased a unlocked nighthawk M1 router Telstra version from taobao.
I am in Taiwan using the Tstar telecom (formerly known as Vibo).
Firstly I can access the setting up pages from either 'the NETGEAR Mobile App' or 'the web browser', but the router can not recognize my 4G SIM card.
After re-installing my SIM card, the router can recognize it and I can use the internet now.
But then, I can not access the setting up pages from either 'the NETGEAR Mobile App' or 'the web browser'.
In 'the NETGEAR Mobile App', the messages show "the router is not supported".
In 'the web browser', the page shows menu bar only and can not be accessed (without asking for login-in).
What can I do to solve the problem?
If I reset to default by using the Reset Button, will this router become Telstra-locked?
Another question, after resolving the problem above, if I upgrade firmware automatically from 'App' or 'browser', will this router become Telstra-locked?
Appreciate for solution. Thanks!
Yang
Thank for your reply.
I have solved this problem already.
The reason for my problem is because the old firmware of T1 can not recognize my Tstar telecom.
So I use other sim card to upgrade the firmware of T1 and then it can recognize my Tstar telecom.

Hi BoyscoutYang
Welcome to NETGEAR Community!
Can you please provide first the exact model of your NETGEAR device?
You mentioned, when you attempt to access the router settings page via web browser, it asked for the username and password. Please use "admin" as the username and password.

Blanca

Thank you for replying.
As I have mentioned, the exact model is nighthawk M1 router Telstra version (MR1100 Telstra) unlocked.
There is nothing but menu bar when accessing the router settings page of web browser.
The settings page did not ask for the username and password shown as the attachment.
The menu bar did not work when pressing it.

Is there any solution available?
M1 MR1100 (with "T")
Thanks a lot!
This just happened to me and I had to do a factory reset, re-eneter the unlock code and then put in the new SIM.
