connected no internet when AC800S cradled in DC112A

I have been using an Optus, AC800S, to provide internet to our property.  Because of the distance between house and a shed I attached an usb wifi adapter to the PC in the shed.  This worked great.

I recently added an Aircard smart cradle (DC112A) to improve the signal everywhere.  Again this works fine for all devices except for the usb wifi adapter.  The adapter connects but there is no internet access.

I am running Windows 10 that is uptodate.  If I run the troubleshooter I get message "Wi-Fi 5 doesn't have a valid IP configuration".  I have reset everything.  I have even been testing with a laptop next to the DC112a/AC800s but get the same result.  In the netgear genie under "Attached Devices" I can see the PC/Laptop with a mac address but no ip address.

Can anyone offer a solution?

      I am having the same issue. My DC112A was working perfectly for months but yesterday I accidentally checked on item in the configuration (Access point I believe) that caused it to reboot. I keep trying the reset button to factory defaults but when cradled by Aircard Hotspot the Internet light is still amber. I cannot Access the DC112A at all .. either wireless or connected with Ethernet cable.

      Your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

        I held the reset button for 60 seconds and the default configuration was reinstated and internet connection with Aircard resumed (amber turned to Green). Read this tip by looking at other posts.

    I've been looking for one of these cradles for 2 years, where can you buy them still? Everything I find on Ebay seems to be damaged in some way/shape/form and all other online retailers are sold out...

      Hi, I bought mine on Australian ebay from a dealer in Ballarat & it was brand new.  I believe the seller was "mytechelper".
