Constantly disconnected while using.

Hello,

 

I received a report from one our users that the MR6500 Mobile Router he is using will frequently disconnect him. I have connected to the computer remotely and ran any available updates as well as ensured all of the components are working properly. There are no issues when connecting to other wireless networks. I ran across another discussion (Solved: Nighthawk 6 PRO ( MR6500 ) - NETGEAR Communities) on here where the individual was experiencing the same issues and it looked like a firmware update fixed the problem. I checked on the support page however I only find downloads to the app and no other software or firmware for the device. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • All updates to the MR6500 firmware are through the carrier, AT&T in this case.  There is a software update screen that is located under Settings -> Software.  Post the current version of the software you have installed.  If your device is ready for a software update, it will display a "check for updates" button.  It may still say you're current even if you're not.  AT&T is rolling out new software updates SLOWLY.

      I had them try that and it looks like there are no updates available. Still having the same disconnect issues, using the laptop for an hour and disconnecting 4 times. The Firmware Version is: NTGX65_12.01.16.01, Firmware Build Date 20230624.

        That would be the latest firmware that I've seen as well.
