I tried to update firmware on my Dc112A. It says there is a new update available. When I select to update it gets to the stage where it is updating language file and fails. I have tried resetting modem and tried several times with no success. I also tried to look for the new firmware files but i can't find them in the download centre

I am very disappointed with Netgear's extremely poor handling of this matter.Do you know what is wrong or not?The fact that it will take over a month for your technicians to find a solution is not realistic and there is no real dialogue.You have developed and sold the Smart Cradle, but you forgot the support somewhere along the way. Why is there, for example, no page where we can download these FW manually?Visit the download center and enter "DC112A".Firmware / Software: not available for this model.Give us an answer now!

Blanca_O any update on this? This issue has been reported over 30 days ago and most of us are still yet to see some solution. Thats 30+ days were running without the latest security fixes. As a seasoned software developer, I can assure you it does not take anywhere nears that amount of time to plug a install bug or patch the firmware.Come on NetGear, Its about time you come to the party now.

You're kidding us now huh?After a month's wait we will find out the latest FW for DC112A. We have always known this - but since the language version does not work, we cannot update FW either. Now you must solve this - we have all bought both a Smart Cradle Router and AirCard for very expensive money - but the support is under all criticism. There is not even a page to download the software manually. Shame on you! Bianca, I think you've missed the actual point. Its not that we don't know the latest firmware revision for our devices, it is that the router itself is telling us there is an update and the update fails to load at the language table and cannot proceed. Netgear can do better than this.

Excuse me, Netgear...... But you actually sell a product called DC112A.Do you remember it? The product is still sold, and cost me $ 330.Also, I bought an AirCard 810S for $ 250.Total: $ 580. Relatively much money, and yet the support is completely useless.After much hassle, you have finally posted the firmware on your website to silence the criticism reasonably. But for most of us, the firmware does not solve all the problems.We also need the language package and the new version is called: 1.0.0.44_2.1.38.3.The only problem is that the current language package cannot be updated: 1.0.0.18_2.1.38.3. You get the answer that: "Could not update user interface language file". Either you solve this - or you remove the new language file from your servers.This is just embarrassing for Netgear, and hardly inspires any confidence.

I have the same problem.
I tried to update the firmware of my Dc112A-100EUS. (old firmwar : V1.0.0.34_1.0.60 and the new : 1.0.0.44_1.0.60)
It indicates that a new update is available. When I choose to update, it comes to the stage where it updates the language file and fails.

Kind of good to see routers in other languages are having an issue. I tried switching from English->Auto->German->Spanish all with the same error.

Why isn't there a link to the firmware file on the Netgear site? This is surprising how poor the support is on this product.

  May I please have the device SKU? It can be checked on their end by checking the box of the product, on the barcode label, which should indicate DC112A-xxxxxx.

J'ai essayé de mettre à jour le firmware de mon Dc112A. (ancien firmware : V1.0.0.34_1.0.60 et le nouveau : 1.0.0.44_1.0.60)
Il indique qu'une nouvelle mise à jour est disponible. Lorsque je choisis de mettre à jour, il arrive au stade où il met à jour le fichier de langue et échoue. J'ai essayé de réinitialiser le modem et essayé plusieurs fois sans succès. J'ai également essayé de rechercher les nouveaux fichiers du firmware mais je ne les ai pas trouvés dans le centre de téléchargement

I too am having this issue and have been for several months. Fails to install the language file from the new firmware 1.0.0.44_1.0.60 via auto update. I am unable to do a manual update as the Firmware for these smart cradles are nowhere to be found for download.
