How to unlock 5G SA in band region for MR6550
Dear all
I bought a model MR6550-100PAS on Amazon US store from last year
Now I’m using it in Viet Nam and it only has two options in Band Region menu
4G
4G+5G ( 5G NSA)
I need one more option is 5G ( SA) to use with other carriers
How can I unlock more 5G band for it?

P.S: for your information, the model MR6550-100APS has the all the option I need in Band Region menu ( 4G; 4G + 5G ; 5G SA); that’s why I have this question. I really appreciate if someone can help or show me how to achieve it

The MR6550-100PAS is region-locked, supporting only NSA in U.S. firmware. The APS version includes SA mode for Asia. To unlock 5G SA, you’d need updated firmware or carrier-specific configuration, but Netgear doesn’t officially allow cross-flashing. Best option is contacting Netgear support for regional firmware.
