I’ve recently started having this problem for my MR6550 while using a Verizon SIM card
Hello,
I’ve recently started having this problem for my MR6550 while using a Verizon SIM card. I can access the web page but if I try to use my app on my iPhone 16 Plus with iOS 23.3.1 it says that the router is not supported. I’ve already updated the firm wear on the device, and I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the mobile app. If anyone else has this issue and have resolved it please let me know. It’s not a priority thing since it truly doesn’t interfere with my use, but sometimes it’s easier to use the app to give access to others since the screen on the device has always had touch issues.
Thank you for your help.

Even with your MR6550 firmware up to date, the app itself often lags behind major OS updates like iOS 23, or it may fail to recognize specific carrier-provisioned versions of the hardware. Since your touch screen is finicky, the best workaround is to save a shortcut to the WebUI (192.168.1.1) on your iPhone's home screen; it offers the same control as the app without the "unsupported device" handshake errors.
