MR1100 Bricked overnight
Woke up to no connectivity and a MR1100 that wont boot. Orange Amber light flashes slowly, ATT logo shows in display but never progresses past
have spent hours trying to get a factory reset using the recessed button in the case, no matter how long i hold or dont there is no change in boot up behavior. I have held with power on, power off, power off and then powering on, different durations of the combinations, no difference in behavior
i have hooked up the device directly to my laptop and set the IP address, DNS, Gateway to the 192.168. values
cant ping the 192.168.1.1 successfully, always times out... so if i cant ping, i cant use TFTP
it feels like it crashed doing a firmware update, i am not certian if these devices auto update or not. i did not force or attempt anything.
any suggestions on how to get access to the device to diagnosis or reflash is so welcomed... this is my primary modem for work access on the road and its just a paper weight right now...

Day two.... anybody have even a crazy suggestion.... getting more pissed at this $250 brick and no way to connect and get my work done...

Please contact AT&T to get RMA if you bought it from AT&T and using AT&T plan.

it was bought at Best Buy... the data plan is with AT&T
it was purchased Jan 2019 so it is out of warrenty...so no RMA,,, unless there is something i do not know.... will they take a decive over a year old back
