MR2100 INCORRECT BATTERY INSERTED

Hello trusted community. I have a Netgear MR2100, which the battery has failed and will not charge. It works perfectly without the battery installed ie connected straight to the USB port. I purchased a new battery and now have an error incorrect battery installed. The battery voltage is in line with that of the failed battery, and looks identical in appearance. Hopefully someone can advise a solution. Thanks

    You need to check the battery P/N number printed on the battery label.

     

    The compatible battery for M2 should have the P/N: 

    308-10077-01

      Thanks, that is the correct number represented on the battery. I have the old battery, and all numbers match up

        Can you send me a photo of the 2 batteries and also the wrong battery alert on LCD?
