Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro (MR6500) 5G hotspot randomly freezes a few times a day.
Bought the hotspot new from Best Buy. When it freezes, the wifi stays connected to devices, but there is no internet on the devices. The touchscreen and buttons on the hotspot do not do anything and don't respond to any presses. When I remove the battery and put it back in, it is fixed - until it does it again randomly.

Could you please confirm this is AT&T MR6500 and you are using AT&T SIM card?

I am having the exact same problem with the same Netgear Nighthawk M6 Pro (MR6500).
It is continuously freezing and the whole reboot/reconnect to towers and devices is more than 5 minutes.I replaced a Netgear Nighthawk 4g device with this one and never had a single problem out of the older and much cheaper than this one.
The battery clip does not work either and the battery continually falls out if you try to move it
