Nighhawk mr1100 Mobile app connects from iphone, but from iPad mini, it says the router is unsupport

My iphone connects to the router just fine.

Using the same app on the same network on my iPad produces an error message saying

 

Incorrect Wifi Mobile Router

Sorry, this Mobile Router is not supported by the Netgear Mobile app!

Clearly it IS compatible, but the iPad won't connect to it!

    What makes you think the router is the guilty party?

      Same app used on iPhone, and iPad mini. When using app from iPad, it says the router is not compatible! Works fine from iPhone!

        Why do you think the mr1100 is the problem rather than your iPad?
