Nighthawk M1 data offloading won't hold

When I try and set up  data offloading via wfi I can't get the M1 to keep the settings. I enable offloading, click wifi and then Apply. The router restarts but the offloading is not enabled and i never get the option to scan for networks. The wifi I am trying to use does not have the same IP address as the router. I have tried this in the web page and the mobile app. Neither works. I really need help since this is one of the primary reasons I bought the M1. Chuck

    Have exactly problem on my new M1. 

    Offloading works fine using ethernet, but when I try WiFi dashboard says Not Connected. I've tried 2.4, 5 and dual and get same results.

    tried with battery installed data offload over WiFi, it does work (firmware 12.06.x), even reboot M1 without battery, the setting still remained and works
