Nighthawk M6 Verizon compatible?
I'm really interested in the new Nighthawk M6 hotspots but Verizon is my cell carrier. Does anyone know if these routers are compatible with the Verizon network and, if so, how complicated it can be to set up? I've done a lot of digging around online and have found really mixed results. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi andyjam,
The Nighthawk M6 and M6 Pro have officially received certification from Verizon. This certification means seamless compatibility and enhanced performance with Verizon's network, providing you with a superior and reliable connectivity experience.
Please let us know if you have questions about the setup or share your experience with the device.

Right now, you can purchase Verizon SIM cards from their store when you provide the device's IMEI.
But there is a tricky thing that needs handling first. Since MR6150 and MR6550 on the market were loaded with the older FW before Verizon TA. In order for the device to fully computable with Verizon network, please make sure to upgrade the device to the latest releases.
FW: 12.01.47.00
PRI: 04.11
Thanks

Is there any chance that Verizon will allow the MR6550 to be used with their prepaid plans anytime soon? It currently appears Verizon only allows it to be used with postpaid plans.
