Hi all, I've got an old MR1100 that I used to have a Verizon SIM card installed but have switched to using a Helium Mobile SIM. It worked alright for a couple of days but then the hotspot remains offline. Funny enough, my desktop can connect to the old MR1100 with the SIM installed but my phone cannot. Any advice? I've tried messing around with the cellular APN to represent the new SIM and carrier, but so far without any luck. I've reached out to Helium as well but no luck so far. I could live with just my desktop being connected but I'm tired of getting screamed at by who I share my house with. Any help would be appreciated and don't feel the need to sugar coat it if what I'm trying is foolish.

All these LPN LoRaWAN (indeed some kind of piggy-back on the mobile networks) are not intended for generic Internet volume data access - all pure IoT cloud, anything connecting to it is going over some cloud services. Technically, everything is possible - doubt somehow mobile provider will assign a public IP address anyway.

What is the intention to operate both the MR1100 -and- the Helium HotSpot together? Anyway, a moderator can move your thread accordingly, no need to start with a new post.

The MR1100 is my primary internet source since everything else is too expensive in my rural area, the Helium hotspot is meant to extend the range better than some netgear PoEs I was using previously and make a little crypto while we use it. This worked for a few days.
