Nighthawk MR2100 / M2 - 0 days remaining

I've factory reset numerous times, re-configured the data usage numerous times & tried two different network sims in the router that I've just bought and every time the days remaining value will not change from 0.

Router: Nightghawk M2 MR2100 (SKU: MR2100-100EUS)

Firmware: NTGX24_10.17.08.00

PRI: 05.04

Model version: SDX24_10.25.00.06

Is this a problem with the netgear series or a batch?  I've seen a variety of posts with this problem yet no real solution?

I've checked for an update but both the router and app just get stuck on the checking for an updated firmware status screen.

Thanks

    Hi c-m-

    Welcome to NETGEAR Community!

For the firmware update, there are service provider that blocks the NTP port that caused the update to fail. Kindly enable data offloading so that the device can connect to NTP. Then the upgrade can be done. Please make sure as well that device has excellent signal and battery level is not below 20%.

I’ve done that and there is no difference.

On my wifi, that the router is offloaded to it doesn’t make any difference, it just hangs.

Is there another way to update it?

      Thanks

Right, I tried via Ethernet this time - the UX of the device & app are quite poor. After faffing around changing the subnet I see the time now displays, so access to the NTP is there.

I can’t upload a photo from my phone, as the forum won’t allow it, but it says

        Last checked 9/7/21

        Firmware version
        NTGX24_10.17.08.00
        Current software up to date

        I’m
On smarty (three) in the U.K.

The 0 days issue is still there..
