Ping times out
I need to find the latency from my home computer to my remoted 6100D gateway.
First attempt failed with "timed out", but I discovered that I hadn't enabled remote Pings in the 6100D security settings.
After supposedly enabling Pings, subsequent attempts still time out. Are there other actions needed to anable 6100D to respond to a Ping request?
Thanks,
Problem still exists. Ping trace showed timeouts, but results didn't make any sense to me. I'll try calling my SIP (Sprint). They haven't helped in the past, but I'll ask them for an opinion.
For the moment, I'll assume this isn't a Netgear problem. My frustration continues trying to isolate and correct problems.

Hello richardx73
There shouldn't be anything else you need to enable maybe try to do a trace route and see where it fails.
