Running the Nighthawk MR6110 on AC power
I've removed the battery after powering off. When I connect the USB cable the Nighthawk will not start. It shows a screen like it is looking for an Ethernet cable. I've done a factory reset and gone with default settings.

- MillsieAspirantYes I have the same challenge. The diagram shows that it must be plugged into the supplied AC power pack. The mystery is that the AC power pack has a usb output so logically plugging into a normal usb should be ok. So the 6110 must be able to detect that it’s connected to AC?

you will need to have a cable that supports QC3.0, with good power adaptor supplies sufficient current to MR6110 in order to get rid off the battery, check the specs for the power adaptor on its USB-A capacity if the current can be supplied more than 3A, I've tried with 5V/4.5A though, it works.
here is the one you can try, https://www.amazon.com/Charger-LATICITY-Foldable-Compatible-iPhone/dp/B0B1F1JD33/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=5a+USB+power+adapter+GaN+33W&qid=1678407666&sr=8-6

Are you getting the image when you connect the USB cable to the PA provided with the device?
The image will show if you connect the USB cable to your laptop's USB port. Such connection is not supported since laptop USB port may not provide the enough power to operate the device.
Thanks
