Unable to save changes to WIFI Network Name on Nighthawk M3 MH3150
I can't save any WiFi changes on my new Nighthawk M3. I have followed the instructions in the manual, but the Apply button is disabled. I've tried on my phone and on a laptop and get the same problem.
Device works with the default name and password. Updates have been installed
To change the WiFi network name, password, encryption, or channel settings from the web user interface:
1. From the web user interface dashboard, select Settings > General > WiFi Band.
The WiFi Band page displays.
2. Click or tap More.
Additional settings display.
3. Enter a WiFi Name and WiFi Password.
4. Select an Encryption Type and Channel.
Your WiFi client devices must support the encryption type that you select for your mobile hotspot, or they will not be able to connect.
5. Clear or select the Broadcast WiFi Name SSID check box.
If you clear the check box, you must manually enter your SSID when connecting your WiFi devices.
6. Click or tap Apply
Have you tried configuring the WiFi immediately after a factory reset?

Hello,
I had the same issue but when you change the security to WPA/WPA2 or to none, you can change the ssid. After that you can change the security back to WPA 2 / WPA 3.
best regards

Hello,
unfortunately this solution doesn't work for me either. I can confirm the changes (ssid and password, encryption), but then I can no longer change the encryption again.

Hello,
I reproduced the error and found a solution that worked in my case.
You need to open the web browser and login to your m3.
After that you need to go to the Wlan menu and change the encryption method to none (do not safe!). Then you can change the Password and the SSID (do not safe at this point either). Then you need to change the encryption method to the previous method in my case WPA2 / WPA3.Now you can safe the settings.
Make sure to save you're settings at the beginning.
Best regards

Hello,
I tried it again and now it works!
In contrast to the first attempt, after switching to "no encryption" I did not confirm, but changed the SSID and PWD. Then I switched the encryption back to WPA2 WPA3 and then I was able to confirm.
Thank you very much.
best regards
