Which LTE/5g modems/routers supports flawless bridge mode/passthrough
I live in a location with no decent cabled internet, so I am looking at a 4g/5g solution as this should give me a decent speed over my cabled alternatives
But I need an unfiltered, 100% bridge/passthrough solution where this ISP public IP passes through un-NAT'ed to my internal firewall.
I read somewhere that Nighthawk M1 can do this - M2 seems newer (and can handle Cat20), but I read a lot of posts in here where users complain that it really can't do bridge mode. Answers indicates that a firmware fixes is, but it seems that not after 2-3 years, people are still complaining about the samme issue.
Should I stick with M1?
Or are there any better Netgear 4g/5g solutions, that can do this? Or other products than Netgear?
My ISP told me that the ORBI can... but as fra as I see, they can't - at least not on the 4g/5g side.
Regards, Lars.
Thanks - I actually ended up buying a Zyxel where the feature actually was clearly documented - and it actually works (-;

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Mobile Router products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with mobile routers. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Hi, my ZTE MU5001U(also Qualcomm x55, but no battery, no screen, and powered by typec, another model ZTE MU5001 have a screen and battery) have this bridge feature, and I am using it at my house. I am not sure it is you want, so i can just put a screenshot about it.
My MR5200 only use for outside, becuase it have a battery.
