1G SFP Compatibility on M4300-12X12F

Hello,   I am trying to connect a Netgear M4300-12X12F switch to a Cisco N540X-6Z18G-SYS-A switch using 1G SFP modules.   I noticed that:   10G SFP+ modules work perfectly between the switches...

Thanks for your response.

I tested both SFPs, and they are working fine.

I am using the same module on both ends.

I also tried connecting a Cisco switch to another Netgear switch ProSafe XS728T using the same fiber and SFPs, and it worked.
any ideas?

This does not proof anything but that these two models seems to be workable - nothing more.

 

What SFP make and model are you testing?

 

See my earlier reply: Netgear does only support Thier own original SFP and SFP+ modules as listed in the relevant Netgear model datasheet.
