ACL Rules for limiting bandwidth using web gui

Hello, I’m trying to limit bandwidth on a specific port (1/0/21) to 1 mb using ACL’s, on a M4300-28g.  I’m setting it up via the web gui, attachment provided.  When I transfer files to see if it’s working I can see on the pc that is connected to the port 1/0/21, but it’s not being limited.  I’m not sure if I’m setting it up correctly but the only thing I’ve noticed is that under “Rule Status” it’s blank.  I read that it should say “active” or “inactive” and blank means “no time schedules are assigned to the rule”.

    d_nell20,

    Welcome to our community! :)

It seems that you want to limit the bandwidth on a specific port. You may need to configure COS and not ACL in order for you to limit the bandwidth. Please check this thread that was solved by one of our community members.
