Can a switch do this?

What we are looking to see if it's possible, is install a small managed switch which can direct traffic from the device to another device internal in the switch. So let's say, we plug in device 1,and 2 into port 1 and 2. Then plug in the device into port 3 which port 1, 2 only need to communicate to port 3. Then connect port 4 to our coporate network switch which will communicate to port 3. Is something like this possible.
This is possible by implementing VLAN and ACL (Access Control List). As an example, ports 1 & 2 are members of VLAN 2. Then, port 3 is on VLAN 3 and port 4 is on VLAN 4. Configure an ACL that allows VLAN 2 and VLAN 3 to communicate and another ACL that allows VLAN 3 and VLAN 4 to communicate.
