Cant change ipv4 management vlan
Hi,
Im having an issue trying to change ipv4 managment vlan from default 1 to 10.
I have tried all sorts of options and their permutations - no luck.
I keep getting an error message saying : "Failed to configure IPV4 managment interface"
Why am I getting this error?
Thanks,
Seb

Welcome to Community!
It's because currently IP address is set on VLAN1, when you want to change VLAN ID from 1 to 10 on this page, it's mean will set same IP on VLAN 10 meanwhile. So it not allowed and will popup error message.
Please change IP address & Gateway to another subnet meanwhile, I think it will be success.
Hope it helps!

Hi
Have you tried in the CLI, as per my notes this should be working:
vlan database vlan 10 vlan name 10 net-mgmt exit
configure
ip management vlan 100 172.16.5.240 255.255.0.0
ip default-gateway 172.16.5.254
exitAs noted in the example VLAN 10 needs to exist before setting it as the management VLAN, maybe that's your issue here in the GUI?
It' interesting that your default gateway is on the last IP in your subnet. While there is no need to have .1 as gateway address, it' has become somewhat of a consensus to do so in most networks.
