Concurring IPv4 & IPv6 ACLs on M4100-50g-PoE+

Dear Netgear Community,

I want to apply both an IPv4- and an IPv6-ACL to the same port to control both IPv4 and IPv6 traffic.

The Problem is that it only seems to be possible to apply multiple ACLs of the same type (multiple IPv4- OR multiple IPv6-ACLs) to a single port. Mixing both types was impossible. The web interface replies that it "Failed to assign ALC".

When binding an IPv4-ACLs to a Port for example, do I automatically block IPv6 traffic on this port or is IPv6 traffic still permitted?

And if IPv6 was still permitted, how am I supposed to control IPv6-traffic if I can´t assign concurrent IPv4- and IPv6-ACLs to the same port?

Any Help is appreciated

Cheers

Kim

  • Just called the service Hotline and this seems to be a bug as for example a M4100-26g doesn´t have this issue. Netgear is looking into this and hopefully comes up with a fixed firmware.
