GS752TPP poe problem with hikvision

Hi, i have contacted the support and the answer is....netgear not support hikvision cameras.
Very very unprofessional this damned switch.
I reback thi switch. I'll take ubiquiti, more expensive but work for all.
I suggest to not buy this switch for certified ipcamera as hikvision. This cameras are very professional...and netgear not support it.

Have challenged Hikvision about their camera model? According to the details you posted, the camera does negotiate and establish a Fast Ethernet link. Keep in mind, this series and specs were outdated for several generations since that product release.

 

Netgear has introduced an off-standard control to allow these camera series succeed on the PoE handshake. For the fun of it I've just released this updated firmware https://kb.netgear.com/000065628/MS108EUP-Firmware-Version-1-0-1-9 :

Support for a new PoE option of "Longer Detection Time" for some powered devices (PDs) that require longer detection time such as Hikvision camera model DS-2CD2146G2-ISUI or model DS-2CD2046G2-IU.

 

Both these models clearly show Ethernet Interface 1 RJ45 10 M/100 M self-adaptive Ethernet port, so no way for a Gigabit Ethernet link.

 

That much about Netgear does not "support" this camera brand. For further troubleshooting, challenge Hikvision as the camera vendor....

The problem is not the negotiation. The other cameras same model but with cable of 50 meters work fine. The problem is that netgear not certfied the 100 meters cables.

You have see the answer italian support in the last screen that i have attached? They tell that not support hikvision and i tell you not only the model that i specified in this thread. I tried also DS-2CD1023G0-I but the problem is same. With cable of 50 meters work, but if i use a 70 meters cable not work. The problem are not the cameras...with ubiquiti worked.

The firmware that you posted i understand it but for my case not work. There is same version of firmware for my model but not work.

References? Your own invention or based on any qualified sources?

For poe the standard suggest to use cable pure copper, in my case is not pure copper. In the past i tested 100 meters cable pure copper with tplink switch and work all. But when i use other cable for other camera same lenght but not pure copper, i had a problem. I have taked a ubiquiti switch gigabit with 500 watt and i detect that if the cable is not pure copper, it work.
Now the ubiquiti is dead after 6-7 years and i not have found not expensive model. I was supposed that the netgear not had the problem as my original tplink...
Before i purchaise i see that was compatible with standard poe 802.3af and 802.3at. The brand of camera is ininfluent for this standard. If is certified for standard 802.3af and 802.3at it must work until 100m . I don'tell i but the standard. The negotiation is not the problem.
