Gs752txp - maximum supported voice device limit 64 is reached

Hi Netgear Community,
Has anyone seen this log message before and if so, could you let me know how to increase or remove the limit if possible, or at least just confirm it’s a limitation of the hardware? So far I’ve not been able to find any info online or in the device documentation. Thanks

    Welcome to the Community!

Are you using Auto-Voice VLAN?It cannot be changed or removed. It is a hardcoded limit.

If you are using Auto-voice VLAN, since the switch only has 52 ports and but it's hitting the limit. It might be best to just tag the voice vlan on the ports, this way the limit message will be removed.

      Hi Marc,

      Many thanks for your response.

Yes, I believe auto-voice VLAN is being used.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that there are 2 switches in a stack. Would the same limitation apply? Do you know if this is documented at all?

      Thanks, Ben

Yes the same limit will apply, Stacking the switches will just make/add ports together but the processes are still handled by one switch or the Stack manager. The stack is seen as a single entity.
